2008 Christmas Party

Hi Everyone
Thank you all for attending our first Princess Charlotte Alopecia Foundation Christmas party.
Lane Cove national park proved to be a perfect venue for this wonderful day The sun was shining, the kookaburras were singing, the ducks were out with their chick, and most exciting of all Santa came to visit.
Firstly we must thank all those who travelled long distances to come to the party. I hope that meeting other children, their families and also adults who suffer from alopecia was a help to make everyone realize that not having hair does not define a person, it just brings out their inner beauty more. What a happy bunch we are, and lets continue these happy feelings in everyday life.
I would like to thank Matty and Bec who have been the driving force for the PCAF. Matty organized all the meat, salads fruit etc for the day. It was very tasty , and in plentiful supply. Martine was the chief face and head painter (apart from my poor efforts) and contacted many of you with an invite for the day. Alison organized the drinks and helped with preparations for the day.
We would also like to thank Kellie for all the gifts (via Santa) she donated ,and to George for organizing Santa's visit.
The PCAF wants you to know that we are all here to support each other - with financial support if needed, with functions like today to get people together and share experiences and stories of their life with alopecia, and to raise awareness of our cause.
The new website will be up and running in the New Year. Please keep up to date with news and dates for future events as well as contributing your stories.
I hope that you all enjoyed the Christmas party, and wish you the peace and joy that this season brings
Trish
